Teamwork is essential in glass blowing. Sometimes we have to bring in the big guns!
This next set of images depict the assembly of the Art Screen now installed at Cascade Brain and Spine Center in Bellingham, WA. Christopher and Andy assembled the sculpture in the studio, then broke it down in parts for the journey to its final home.

In this picture, the piece is almost done. The torch is heating the base so it can be broken off and put into the anealing oven to cool. You can already see some of the color and pattern as the top has cooled much more than the middle or bottom of the vessel.
This series was taken while blowing the globes for the Twin Pines Casino chandeliers. Christopher and the team made close to 200 globes in just a few weeks! Go Team!
